She was predeceased by: her husband Barna McKinne "Mack" Hardwick, Sr.; her parents, Charles Gregory and Sibyl Cook Wylds; and her siblings, Charles Anthony Wylds II (late Lola Clements), Edward Reynolds Wylds and Sibyl Wylds Smith (late James Charles).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Hardwick Bess (Kenneth) and Barna "Mack" McKinne Hardwick, Jr.; and her grandson Jonathan "Jack" Lucas Bess.
