He was predeceased by: his sister Emma Jarvis; and his grandson John Garrett Quattlebaum. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Crockett Bailey; his children, Denise Walker (Elliott), Sylvester M. Bailey Jr. (Janet), Elise Quattlebaum (Johnny) and Soleta Bartles (Chris); his grandchildren, Andrew Cromer (Emma), Crystin Whinghter (Nathan), Christopher Bartles Jr. (Rachel), Bill Bartles, Jason Owen and Keith Walker Sr.; his great great-childrens, Charlee, Andie, Faran, June, Eva, Kirk, Preston, Zachary, Sophia, Keith Jr. and Kevin; and his siblings, Frank I. Bailey Jr. (Frances) and Barbara Knox (Pete). He is also survived by his several nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Wildlife Turkey Federation 770 Augusta Road Edgefield, SC 29824.
