Thelma Magness Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Magness of Augusta, Georgia, born in Aiken, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel D. Magness, and Mildred Reed Magness, Sr.; her brother Daniel D. Magness, Jr.; and her brother-in-law James Ferguson Findlay. She is survived by: her sister Brenda Magness Findlay; her sibling's children, Amy Day, David Magness, Jill Manly and James Lawson Findlay (Sandra); her great-nephews, Noah and Braxton; her great-niece Sofia; her niece Elizabeth Findlay Carter; and her great-nephews, James and Caleb.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Aiken Memorial Gardens (1523 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801).
