Theresa Adams Obituary

In the vast expanse of eternity, Theresa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Theresa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She is survived by: her children, Tawana Thurmond, LaTanya Thurmond, Tiffany Adams Smalley (Chris) and Walter Leon Adams Jr.; her father Theodore Thurmond Sr. (Frances); and her siblings, Theodore Thurmond Jr., James Thurmond (Victoria), Lorie Watkins (Anthony), Watina Thurmond Smith and Sevina Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (4519 Jessie Rd, Augusta, GA 30907).
