He is survived by: his parents, Eugene Burrus and Audrey Burrus; his sons, Soren and Atticus; the mother of his children Gillian Gurlen; his siblings, Stuart Burrus (Ashley) and Alicia Burrus; his uncles, George Burrus and Kent Farris; his aunt Jane Burrus; and his close friend Sydney Herrick.

Because of the unexpected nature of their loss, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made directly to James Funeral Home, PO Box 588, Wrens GA 30833.
