He is survived by: his mother Virion McBride; his wife Bernice; his children, Thomas (Stacy), Rucker, Jr., Arkeshia Rucker and Terrell Rucker (Janeice); his grandchildren, Kiajah Brinson, Makaylee Rucker, Niylah Jenkins, A'Laura Morris, Demi Jones and Jnene Henderson; his siblings, Freddie Rucker (Portrice), Teresa Steward (Robert) and Virion Gillette; his mother-in-law Beatrice Dukes; and his sister-in-law Linda Cummings. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at 3105 Milledgeville Rd, Augusta, GA 30904. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (120 Watkins St, Augusta, GA 30901).
