In the sacred silence of farewell, Tonya is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tonya's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She is survived by: her husband Jermaine Davis; her mother Willie Mae Johnson; her parents-in-law, Jeanette and William Carpenter; her children, Tinika Davis, Keith Freeman and Precious Freeman; and her siblings, Chevena Freeman, Tyrone Henderson, Tavarres Henderson and Grant Henderson (Angella). She is also survived by 7 beautiful grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Viewing was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
