It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace L. Slater (Augusta, Georgia), born in Americus, Georgia, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Graham Slater and Kelly H. Slater; his brother Harold Kelly Slater; and his brother-in-law Thomas Marvin Vison III (Tim). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Slater (Allen); his sons, Brian Wallace Slater (Emma) and Kurt Hunter Slater (Christy); his grandchildren, Graeme Wallace Slater and Addie Evelyn Slater; and his sister Edith Slater Vinson (Edie).
