Clayton; his children, Tonietha, Tennille Clayton and Walter Clayton III (Lauren); his stepchildren, William Robert Cannady II, Ferne Sapp (Willie) and Alyssa Brinson (Alexander); his grandchildren, Darion Patterson, Raven Hicks (Carlos), Devin Patterson, Washan, Miles, Gabriella, Walter IV and Chandler; his great grandchild Landon Wade Hicks; and his nephews, Jonathan Clayton (Yolanda) and Johann Clayton (Sherilyn). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
