He is survived by: his children, Frances Haigwood, Sondra Blaxton (Jesse) and Thomas W. Fennell, Jr. (Mildred); and his grandchildren, Tammy Daniel (Vic), Tracie Huff (Kent), Tina Burch (Gary) and Frankie Phillips (Ronnie).
