He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Stephanie; his children, Barlass and Abigail; and his siblings, Herbert Lorick (Linda Lorick), Tina Dunn (David Dunn) and Little Linda.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Research, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
