He is survived by: his wife Joy Hallman Benson; his children, Peggy Christina Frost (Chris), William "Bill" Benson, Jr. (Cynthia) and Kenneth James Benson (Ellie); and his grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Cory, Shelby, Blake, Elijah, Zachary, Natasha, Caleb, Joel, Garic, Lexandra, Lani, Emma, Alice, Sabatian and Oliver.
