It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Sexton (Augusta, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ottis Sexton and Omar Jane Allen Sexton; his siblings, Charles Sexton, Harry Sexton, Leroy Sexton and Barbara Hicks; and his daughter Tammy Jean Shaw.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Frances Greenway Sexton; his daughters, Donna Lynn Pettigrew of Denver, CO, Debora Anne Wilder of Lynchburg, VA and Sandra Denise Moss of Aiken, SC; and his siblings, Bill Sexton (Judy), Jerry Sexton and Martha Hartley (Jim). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
