He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Wingate and William G. Wingate Sr.; his brother Donnie Wingate; and his granddaughter Abigail. He is survived by: his pet Stella; his wife Lib; his sons, William G. Wingate III, Jonathon W. Wingate Sr. and Allan W. Wingate (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jonathon W. Wingate Jr., Austin W. Wingate, William G. Wingate IV (Raylyn), E. Hope Wingate, Leilani V. Walker, Emmabelle R. Wingate, Landon B. Wingate and Annalise F. Wingate; his brother Alex Wingate (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Dale Wingate. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
