He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Hickson and Rev. Quincy H. Hickson; and his siblings, Willie Marion Matthews, Sarah Ella Hickson-Lymus, James Quincy Hickson, Benjamin Walter "Red" Hickson, Arthur Lee Hickson, Robert Lee Hickson (Freddie Mae), Henry William Hickson and George Edwards Vanderhall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Irvin (Lenard) and Katherine Hickson; and his siblings, Quincy Mae Hickson, Rena Mae Hickson (Bill), Lucy Mae Hickson-Kissiedu (Alfred) and Samuel Lee Hickson (Tommie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family & friends.
