He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Durham and Mary Toole Durham. He is survived by: his wife Helen Durham; his children, William, J. "Billy" Durham, Jr. (Leslie), Daphne Faison (Rhett) and Ginger Davis; and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Karson, Riley, Alex, Jackson, Alyce, Anna and Addison.
