He was predeceased by: his birth parents, Leonard E. and Florence Louise Sapp; his adoptive parents, Karl K. Eychaner and Gertrude Eychaner; and his brother Lenny Sapp.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Eychaner; his daughters, Andria Duff (David), Alisa Van Dorn (Tom) and Allison Johnson (Casey); his grandchildren, Dallas Duff, Brooks Duff (Kirsten), Chase Duff, Kelsie Johnson and Forrest Johnson; his great grandchild Logan Duff; and his sisters, Sandra Funkhouser (Ronnie), Shirley Sapp, Joan Walton (Mike), Judy Fiedler (John) and Susie Koehler (John).
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church (1330 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
