He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Marlor (Bishop) and Mack McGruder Bishop; his wife Shirley Jean Bishop; his granddaughter Amy Michelle Laughlin; and his sisters, Agnes "Dutt" Heath, Ann Heard and Mary Donaldson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Laughlin (Don) of Powder Springs, Sherry Bishop of Dallas and Wendy Jackson (Joseph) of Temple; his sisters, Margaret Bennett, Brenda Priest and Edna Chafin (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Shawna, Michelle, Kelly, Sylvan, Caitlyn, Adam and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Austin, Cassi, Hayven, Brayden, Ryder, Walker, Hudson, Lucas, Weston and Wilder; and his pets, Dolly and Molly.
