She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Augustus "Skeet" Collins; her parents, James H. Townsend and Effie Townsend; and her granddaughter Danielle Renee "Rosebud" Collins. She is survived by: her children, Clifton, Gloria Collins, Michael and Faye Collins; and her grandchildren, Cody, Wendy, Ashley, Abbey and Stephanie. She is also survived by seven great-granddaughters.
