He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann James; his children, Barney "Skip" Paul James, Jr. (Donna), Jerry Alan James (Joy), MajGen, James (Tammy) and Jennifer Ann James Shackelford (Dave); and his sister Alice Deloris Feyaerts (Karel). He is also survived by twelve grandkids and ten great grandkids.
