He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Willoughby and Janie Willoughby; and his siblings, Harold, Inez, Lauretta, Vernon, Annie Mae, Tom, Charlie, Sara and Jay.

He is survived by: his children, Kay Swisloski (Glenn) of Powder Springs and Bobby Willoughby (Eric Morrow) of East Point.
