It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Classie Mae Johnson (Austell, Georgia), born in Iuka, Mississippi, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Thelma Mays; her husband Vaughn Johnson; and her children, Willie Woods Jr., Trillia D. Hunt, Terry E. Woods Sr. and Amy D. Henderson.

She is survived by: her son Troy Woods (Marissa); and her daughter-in-law Patricia Woods. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
