He is survived by: his wife Pat Mitchell; and his children, Shannon Agan of Carrollton, Tammy Dee Nixon of Austell, Hugh Mitchell (Elaine) of Dallas, Heath Mitchell (Lisa) of Carrollton and Brian Mitchell (Michelle) of Rome. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
