She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Lawton Sewell, Jr.; her parents, Frank Cooper Smith, Sr. and Matilda Leonard "Tillie" Smith; and her siblings, Jean Smith Price and Frank Cooper "Bucky" Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer "Jenny" Sewell Kloet (Dale Kloet), Stephen "Steve" Lawton Sewell, Sr. (Jan Sailors Sewell), Matthew "Matt" Cooper Sewell (Julie Redwine Sewell), Richard "Rick" Henry Sewell and Nancy Sewell Martin (Edwin "Eddie" Martin). She is also survived by many extended family members and family friends.
