He was predeceased by: his parents, Letus Washington Chandler and Frances Wood Chandler; his wife Nancy Aiken Chandler; his siblings, Linda Chandler and Jerry Chandler; his brother-in-law Sonny Aiken; and his parents-in-law, Orville and Vernetta Aiken.
He is survived by: his daughter B. Gossage of Norcross; his siblings, Charles Chandler of Locus Grove, Lee Chandler of Macon, Danny McCay of Macon and Susan; his brother-in-law Terry Owens of Dallas; his stepsisters, Lavona Chandler of Macon and Lynn Chandler of Macon; and his sister-in-law Nancy Aiken. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
