With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Bates Pugh (Austell, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Jan Pugh Rochester (Richard), Karen Pugh Walker (John) and Amy Pugh Jordan (Jim); her grandchildren, Carrie Rochester Tucker (Brendan), Jonathan Rochester, James Walker (Samantha) and Laura Jordan McCarty (Mark); her great grandchildren, Audriana Walker, Henry Walker, Miller McCarty, Stockton McCarty and Eliza Tucker; her sisters, Brenda Bates and Kay Bates; her sister-in-law Terry Richards Pugh; her friend Christians; her parents, John Bates and Ruby Bates; and her husband James Gartrell Pugh. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews, cousins.
