As we bid Rory farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rory is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father James Otis "Peewee" Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Susan Morgan; his children, Daniel Morgan (Jade) and Genie Heaton (Dan); his mother Barbara Jo Morgan; his grandchildren, Reed, Zachary, Stella, Jake and JoJo; and his sister Tracy Lemons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel (1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106).
