He was predeceased by: his parents, Burrell "Burl" Elsberry and Dallie Elsberry; and his siblings, Clyde, Ray Elsberry, Mary Kate Peppers, Elyvan Henson Milam and Florene Bennett Swilling.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Hembree Elsberry; his daughter Cindy Elsberry; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Hembree and Vera Hembree. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
