He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Wilson Chaffin and Margaret T. Rooks (Nichter); and his sisters, Pam Chaffin and Geri Frank (Chaffin). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Chaffin; his children, Tim Chaffin (Leanda), Jay Evans (Kerri), Arleen Bridgeman (Carter) and Julie Vidal (Chaffin); his grandchildren, Karleigh Chaffin, Leah Chaffin, Daniel Evans, Sean Evans and Devin Jimmerson (Miranda); his great grandchild Bentleigh Bennett; and his sisters, Judith Moore and Karen Sherman (Bill).
