She was predeceased by: her husband Sam E Sexton, Sr.; her parents, Lester Schrum and Lottie Massey Schrum; and her siblings, Stella Schrum Arthur, Constance Schrum Cooke, Owen Schrum and John Schrum.
She is survived by: her children, Joanna Sexton Pelphrey, Sam E Sexton, Jr. and Mark K Sexton; her grandchildren, Allyson Pelphrey, Taylor Sexton, Haley Sexton and Hannah Sexton; and her great grandchildren, Olivia Sexton and Nora Sexton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nell's name to the Basinger-Butcher Benevolence Fund, which goes to the benefit of the caring staff at Presbyterian Village.
