He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Wood. He is survived by: his children, Wesley E. Wood Jr. (Sherry), Nicholas Wood and Shelly Brannon (Adama); his grandsons, Wesley Wood III, Tyler Wood and Christopher Wood; his great grandchild Mason; and his brothers, John "JT" Wood and Louis Wood.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roy Davis Funeral Home (5935 Mulberry St, Austell, GA 30168). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery -Canton Ga (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
