He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Hicks Sr. and Monteene Pierce Hicks; and his former wife Glenda Ruth Murphy Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Christine Reynolds Hicks of Baconton; his daughters, Teresa Lamb (Robert) of Merrillville, Donna Lindvale (Robert) of Ochlocknee and Cindy Hicks (David) of Merrillville; his stepchildren, Randy Ditty of Alaska, Greg Ditty of Alaska, Terri Ditty of Alaska, Julie Nichols of Alaska, Jennifer Ditty of Alaska and Steve Ditty of Wisconsin; and his sister Brenda Hester (Jimmy) of Boston. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
