She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathaniel Taylor and Essie Ellen Bowen Taylor; her husband Murry "Buddy" Hornsby; and her siblings, Warren Raymond Taylor (W. R.), Odis Taylor, Irma Christine Taylor, Gladys Louise Taylor, James Webster Taylor (Buddy) and Mary Frances Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Timothy Holt of Nokomis and John Craig Holt of North Port, Florida; her stepdaughters, Linda Hornsby Benford (Ron) of Jacksonville, Judi Hornsby Nichols (Bill) of Bainbridge and Jan Godwin of Attapulgus, Georgia; her sister Edna Earle McLeod of Palatka, Florida; her grandchildren, Katie and Kyle Holt of Sarasota, Florida; and her caregiver Emma Frazier. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
