As we bid adieu to Betty's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Betty has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, R. A. Hunt and Jewell Miller Hunt; her husband Robert Earl Smith; and her brother Charles Hunt. She is survived by: her daughter Terrie Smith Burney (Troup H. Burney); her grandson Alex Burney; and her brother-in-law C. M. Smith. She is also survived by cousin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
