She is survived by: her children, Bettye, James Jr. (Veronise), Jerome, Latonya (William), Gregory and Dexter Trent; and her grandchildren, Tracy Cooper (Keita), William McNair Jr., James "Jay" McGriff III and Jeremy McGriff (Deborah).
