She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bernard Long and Willie Irene Robertson Long; her husband Lawrence Dee "Larry" Briles, Jr.; her daughter Elizabeth Briles; and her brother Michael Long.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Hawkins (Bill) of Mount Vernon and Amy Briles of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Michael Grosh and Danielle Wilkinson (Michael); her great grandchildren, Freddy and Ethan Wilkinson; and her sister-in-law Beverly Parks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
