He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Sellars and Mabel Mills Sellars; and his siblings, Al Sellars, Steve Sellars, Rodney Sellars and Frances Newman.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Hooks Sellars; his siblings, Marlene Ingram (Lulu), Kyle Sellars and Faye Kosmond; his children, Chasity Hall (Jon) and Garon Sellars (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Vicknair (Greg), Philip Ponder, Charlie Kate Sellars and Fisher Sellars. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home.
