He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleave Smith and Barbara Smith (Netherton); his son Robert M. Smith; and his sisters, Angelia Smith and Cleavea Smith Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanna Whitehead Smith; his son Dr. Brandon A. Smith (Shelby); his grandchildren, Kaden Smith, Isabella Smith and Cooper Smith; his sister Corrie Smith Bateman; and his parents-in-law, Kimis and Janice Whitehead. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
