She was predeceased by: her parents, William Owen Chason and Annette Nix Chason; her brother Bill Chason; and her father-in-law A. E. Hester, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Al Hester; her children, Allen Hester and Brandie Hester (Eric); her grandchildren, Joshua Hester, Mary Ann Hester and Nichole Hester; her siblings, Ben Chason, Randy Chason, Kim Craig (Mike) and Robert Chason; her mother-in-law Mary Ann Hester; her brother Wendell Hester; and her sister-in-law Jill Hester Clark (Phillip). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home (502 S Scott St, Bainbridge, GA 39819). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Climax Methodist Church (210 W Broad St, Climax, GA 39834).
