It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Dollar of Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sara. Though Sara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bradford Williams and Rosa Neal Brown Williams; her husband James Washington Dollar (Jay); her son Jimmy Dollar; and her grandsons, Daniel, Eddie and B. J. Dollar.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Jackson (Ron) of LaGrange, Brad Dollar (Brenda), Dennis Dollar (Marsha) of Climax and Danny Dollar (Sonya) of Climax, Georgia; and her brother Joe Williams (Eulouise) of Roswell, Georgia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
