Calvin P. Minter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin P. Minter of Baldwin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Calvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Calvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Jackson Minter; his parents, Floyd Pent Minter and Fannie Bell Hall Minter; his daughters, Beverly Livingston and Shelia Partlow; his son-in-law Larry Partlow; and his brother Dallas Minter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Weaver (Bobby), Paula Landrum (Guy) and Dawn Pinnell (Travis); and his son-in-law John Livingston. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cooperville Baptist Church (100 Coopers Church Rd SW, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
