She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Addis and Myrtle Addis; the father of her children Delmar Chambers; her husband Nelson Lewallen; her daughter Patricia Griffin; her sister Helen Chitwood; and her sister-in-law Rena Mae Addis.
She is survived by: her daughter Dena Hall (Harold) of Helen; her son-in-law Terry Griffin of Baldwin; her brother Jimmy "Bud" Addis of Demorest; her brother-in-law Jesse W. "Bill" Chitwood of Clarkesville; her granddaughters, Tammy Owens (Jeff) and Amber Hall; her great grandchildren, Ryan Williams (Candace) and Aaron Williams (Kristen); and her great great grandchildren, Beckett Williams and Ben Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel (1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, GA 30511). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fairfield Baptist Church (2236 GA-105, Demorest, GA 30535).
