Irene Freeman Mills Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene Freeman Mills of Baldwin, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Earl Mills; and her parents, Cordie Freeman and Irene Brookins Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Karen Mills Towery and Paul Mills; her sisters, Carolyn Patterson of Gordon and Bett Gunn (Sterling Danny) of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Scott Towery, Brent Towery and Kris Towery; and her great grandchildren, Mary Towery and Taylor Towery.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation to a fund for the great grandchildren has been set up at Mid South Credit Union.
