It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Marie Cagle of Ball Ground, Georgia, born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell Cagle. She is survived by: her children, Joan Rutledge, Lorie Wooten and Georgia; her great grandchildren, Lorie and John Wooten of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Joan, Bradley Rutledge of Jasper, Brooke (Rutledge) and Spencer; her great grandchildren, Caroline and Charlie Smith of Columbia, SC; her grandson Brad Rutledge of Acworth; and her siblings, Elizabeth Medford Dysart (Jerry) and N. A. Medford (Cindy). She is also survived by her daughters, son-in-laws.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Georgia consider a donation to the First Baptist Church of Jasper in her memory.
