He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Buchanan and Hattie Buchanan; his son Barry Turner; and his siblings, Homer Buchanan, Grady Buchanan, Henrey Buchanan, Johnny Buchanan and Mamie Byers.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Buchanan; his daughters, Judy (David Holden) and Delenna (Sammy Allen); his grandchildren, Missy Holden, Shannon Holder and Kendra Allen; and his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holden and Evan Holden.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Harvey Lewis Buchanan's Home (5120 Conns Creek Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107).
