It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clonts (Ball Ground, Georgia), born in Canton, Georgia, who passed away on May 28, 2019, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bunion Clonts and Pauline Clonts; his son Kirk Clonts; and his siblings, Billy Clonts and Rachel Denson.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Powell Clonts; his daughter Janel Clonts Jones; his stepdaughter Amber Pritchett (Rhett); and his siblings, Blanche Covington, Elizabeth Fisher, Ann Pardue, Buelah Smith, Judy Vaughn, Lynn Kissinger, Mary Peavy, Linda Watkins, Clyde Clonts, David Clonts, Arvil Clonts and Tommy Clonts. He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to American Cancer Society.
