He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Picket Dobson and Pauline Hunt Dobson; and his brothers, J. L. Dobson, Comalee Dobson and Jessie C. Dobson.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Dobson; his children, Gerald (Kathy Dobson), Randy Dobson and Andrea Godfrey; his grandchildren, Jeremy Dobson (Lashelle), Josh Dobson (Katie), Jamey Dobson (Katie) and Dillon Godfrey; his great grandchildren, Lilia, Paul, Cora, Cheyenne, Amara Dobson, Deven and Anthony Godfrey; and his sister Joyce Stancil. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends.
