He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Joey; his daughter-in-law Donna Roper of Ball Ground; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Frank O'Neill of Dahlonega; his daughter Mendy; his son-in-law Chris Flowers of Waco; his children, Steven Roper of Canton and Julie; his son-in-law Nick Hisoire of McMinnville, TN; his sisters, Sybil Hill of Ball Ground and Shirley; his brother-in-law Elmer Barrett of Ball Ground; his sisters, Joan Robb of Ball Ground and Susan Williams of Ball Ground; his close friend Carrol Mathews of Dawsonville; his parents, Red Roper and Lillie Roper; and his brothers, Billy Roper and Harry Roper. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
