He was predeceased by : his son Lesley Teal; his parents, Tommie Teal and Myrtle Teal; and his siblings, Tommie, Claude, Samuel Teal, Carl Murray, Linda Teal and Rachel Murray McCrickard.

He is survived by : his wife Rebecca; his pets, Levi, Abel, Iris and Sean Teal; and his sister Brenda Langley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hightower Baptist Church (3444 Hightower Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
