With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Grace Etheridge Gamez of Barnesville, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 34. Though Amanda Grace Etheridge may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Amanda Grace Etheridge touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Jesus Gamez; her stepdaughter Skylar; her parents, Dan Etheridge and Susan Etheridge; her sister Megan Kempson (Justin); her grandparents, Billy B Smith and Mary Etheridge; her mother-in-law Cheryl Gamez; her brother-in-law Tim Gamez (Aubrey); and also Briella. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
